This past week was basically the apocalypse in Atlanta, not even kidding. We got a whopping 2 inches of snow, which shut the city and Emory University down for three days. Then, to top it all of, it was 70 degrees on Sunday.
Coming from New Jersey, this “snow event” was actually really funny. At home, they’ve been getting 2 or 3 inches of snow at least once a week and it’s off the roads instantly.
I loved how happy everyone was because of the snow. Everyone came out of the library (in their defense, it was closed) and hung around during the snow days. It was my roommates first time seeing snow actually fall from the sky because she’s from California, and with the added bonus of it being her birthday I think she was pretty happy!
And, most importantly, we avoided our first full week of classes for the semester.
